Writing your first email newsletter and wondering where to start?
First of all, there is nothing worse than starting with a blank piece of paper. There’s no inspiration from a white space, is there?
One of the first places to look for inspiration is your sent emails. If you have been in business for a while, there is a good chance that you have a long list of emails that you have sent over the past few weeks and months.
Which emails are ones sent to customers or replies to enquiries? The questions that your customers or prospective customers are usually a great place to start as there is every chance that your newsletter subscribers will be asking similar questions.
You have already answered their questions in the email, so copy and paste your reply in to a text file, give it a heading and edit it so it reads like an article. A quick additional tip added here and there and hey presto - your first newsletter article.
There are lots of other ideas, so keep checking back for the latest email newsletter content writing tip.
